Ordered this book (from the library, or course). Read the first two and while he's no Harry Dresden, Atticus O'Sullivan is a likable enough Druid. What really makes the books, though, is his relationship with his dog.

Anyone else having problems with Google Maps? Or is it just me? I swear, GMaps is so frustrating to use I just want to chuck my laptop through the window, then pick up the pieces and slam them on the ground over and over again like some primitive ape who can't get an iPad to show pictures of little kittens.
So, I used the MyTracks app on my phone to record a motorcycle ride I went on last weekend. When all was said and done, though, I forgot to restart the recording while we were stopped for lunch.

It Does NOT Save!
I can't begin to tell you how annoying this is when trying to create a Google Map!
UFO doesn't necessarily mean an alien intelligence it just means a flying object that is unidentifiable. However, there are some strange things going on all over the world and thanks to modern consumer grade technology we are able to capture more and more weird occurrences and share them for review by the world at large.
I think this is a good thing.
Have you seen anything weird out there? I have. A tiny tiny blip in the sky one day that I followed for about 20 minutes.

Jason ON - He might be, +Robin Steiger, and again, I'm not indifferent to a good joke. The first couple of Public posts with my named plussed I took as just that: a joke. Then all his friends started plussing me and my stream/notifications went wild. And then I'm being called names and end up having verbal assaults hurled my way.
But yes, I took it public. I wanted other's opinions to weigh my reaction against and everyone who called me a name, verbally assaulted me or plussed me in animosity showed their true colors.
Hopefully Google will take notice. They probably won't delete accounts, but maybe it will be something to talk about at a staff community meeting. Maybe this will influence a future version of G+. Maybe there will be a block+troll in the blocking function. Maybe there will be nothing.
Popular bloggers and writers, people like +Robert Scoble and +Mike Elgan, might get a lot more trolling than I did today and they might get it much more often than I do, but they're popular people whose names and opinions might offend when not intending to. I'm not as popular as they are. I don't have tens of thousands of people hanging on my every word and I didn't do anything to be trolled other than asking to be removed from a Circle I didn't want to be in.

I don't know where it is off the top of my head, but there is a plugin (for chrome, i think) that will let you choose which circles to view instead of your stream in its entirety. In such an instance, you can arrange your circles how you want and not worry about content shared with you that you're not interested in viewing in your stream.
You're lucky that all you got were cat gifs. I have had to mute several gifs and pictures of a sexually explicit nature because I tend to do most of my G+ browsing at work. I otherwise don't mind them though, haha.

I like viewing the full stream though unless I'm looking for something specifically like IRL friends happenings and they don't show up because my stream moves too fast.

Linda Lawrey - Send Feedback and explain that after asking someone to remove you from a circle of gifs, they had a hoard of assholes gang up on you and mention you in gif posts. Don't respond to any of them. Just block each of them. Eventually they will get a life. It's him that will take the fall for all that they do after that.
